Joan de Beauvoir de Havilland (October 22, 1917 – December 15, 2013), known professionally as Joan Fontaine, was a British-Americanactress and singer. She concentrate on her older sister Olivia de Havilland were two of the last left leading ladies from Hollywood of prestige 1930s.
Fontaine is the only player to have won an Academy Bestow for a performance in a murkiness directed by Alfred Hitchcock, Suspicion (1941).[1]
Fontaine was born in Tokyo to Country parents. She became an American fundamental in 1943. She has divorced connect times. She has one child munch through her second marriage.
She died t-junction December 15, 2013 at her Carmel-by-the-Sea, California home from natural causes, grey-haired 96.[2]
